Some of the best trips I ever took were the ones I least expected to take, and knew very little about beforehand. Visiting Poland was such one trip. I was invited to participate at a European Conference, part of my work in the European Voluntary Service, a conference that gathered volunteers from all of the countries that are part of the European Union. As always, it was intense, it was work, and it was a lot of fun.
Me and a friend of mine represented Romania. We had about 4 days to pack and get ready, a very long train ride. We exchanged two trains, if I remember correctly, but finally made it. And in between sharing, working, laughing and playing, I captured Poland’s beauty, in the arms of Fall….

Great blog! Do you have any helpful hints for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you advise starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m completely confused .. Any suggestions? Bless you!

Hello Alysha and thank you! :) If you would like to start writing then yes, blogging could be a first (and temporary/not) solution. There are many platforms for it, wordpress, blogger, blogspot…I felt the same way as you do, when I decided to start my own blog. There are many platforms, much info about each so I checked forums and reviews and I have decided to choose wordpress.com. It took me a bit to get used to all the apps and settings, but after I did, it felt easy and safe. I also love the fact that the “help” setting is always being updated, improved and made so that it is easy to find answers to your problems, esp. if you are a newbie. And, in time, you can also buy the domain and I believe that it is around 17$/y which is really not that bad. If you think I can help you further, let me know ;) good luck and do not forget to share with us your blog/website! ;)
